Changes happen... Maelstrom at EPCOT was changed to Frozen Every After. I like the change. Tower of Terror was changed to Guardians at California Adventure. I like the change. The Aladdin show was replaced with a Frozen show at DCA. I still miss Aladdin. California Screamin became the Incredicoaster. I'm ok with the change.

I haven't seen the Frog Princess, but I understand the reason for the change and hope that they do a good job with it. From what I've seen, they've only mentioned Disneyland and Magic Kingdom. There is also one at Tokyo Disneyland and it will be interesting to see if it changes too.

Tower of Terror only changed to Guardians in California, but I believe that it will also happen in Paris. Star Tours didn't even change in Paris until recently, I believe. I know it hadn't when I was there about 18 months ago. And Tower of Terror still exists in Tokyo too.

As far as overlays, Disneyland and Tokyo Disneyland have been doing the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay from Oct-early Jan for years. It doesn't happen in Orlando or Paris (although Phantom Manor is quite different at the end). And Shanghai doesn't have one and Hong Kong has Mystic Manor, which is quite different altogether.

Space Mountain has had several overlays. Hyperspace Mountain, which is a Star Wars overlay, Ghost Galaxy was a Halloween-themed overlay, and there was also a Christmas overlay. They even did a Red Hot Chili Peppers overlay to Space Mountain where there was colored flashing lights and the song Higher Ground. At the same time, California Screamin played 'All Around the World'. I liked the song on Screamin, but not the flashing lights on Space Mountain.

Disneyland also did a Jingle Cruise Christmas overlay on the Jungle Cruise. All new jokes.
