How did it look? Our camp trailer ones only last 2 years, I've never bothered to check the one in my house!

It was surprisingly good. of the 3 or so feet of it, only about 4 inches really looked chewed up at all near the top.

This is very true - good point. Might as well do that when the tank is drained.
