That's likely to be reduced when the Big 12 announces they are going conference only and then more of the G5 conferences start following suit. Face it folks, if we have a season at all, it is going to be a pathetic schedule. We've had pipe dreams. Notre Dame, Alabama, A&M. None of them are going to happen. If we have a season it's going to be Liberty, NMSU, Umass, Uconn, and if we get lucky Army. I'm generally optimistic when it comes to BYU sports, but corona virus has turned me into a pessimist about so many things. I've just seen too much cancelled already. Now, I've said since April there will not be any college football in the fall, and I pretty much believe that will still be the case.
Not a fan of going back to the MWC, but for this year, BYU should be begging. Not the other way around. I think if I were a player I'd be praying for a cancellation of the whole thing. If that happens, and it is the choice the player makes, I would think their eligibility would get extended by a year.
