"mancrush weirdness" is a stretch.

I'm sure there's quite a few that want Taysom to be successful for a lot of the same reasons that I do. Add that to the fact that BYU having the rich QB tradition that it has, hasn't had an impactful starting QB in the NFL for a minute. So ya, people are going to be keen on his success.
