Regardless of how each season ends, there are always memorable moments, amazing individual performances, usually exciting wins, jaw-dropping plays, great off-the-field stories, and more.
For me:
Navy game - I was just grateful we were playing football when so many others were looking like they weren't even going to have a season at all.
Boise game - so satisfying getting our first win against the donkey yewts on their own surf turf. After-game prayer was cool.
Zach Wilson - he was the Jimmer of BYU football, the way he played and directed the offense. And the freaking amazing throws he would make!
Tom Holmoe - AD of The Year for piecing together a schedule after 80% of our original schedule collapsed weeks before the season started. We played 12 freaking games, when other teams were lucky to get to 5. (Those who played 5: Rice, Maryland, Florida International, Bowling Green (0-5), Arizona, Utah; Those who played 4: Arizona St, Colorado St, Washington, Cal, Washington St., UMASS, Kent St.; Those who played 3: Ohio, Miami (OH)
Houston game - billed to be the first big challenge of the year, and it was a fun, exciting game.
UCF - just a great, fun, dominant bowl victory, and our first in the state of Florida.
