My wife brought up Obama as an example - regardless of politics, he’s just one of the most famous people around, extremely influential, etc.

I swear if I went to dinner party and Barack or Mitt Romney or GWB were sitting there, I’d just say, hey, how’s it going? Just like I would anyone else.

Obviously with my incredibly low status in life, I’ll never find out what it’s like to mingle with high status people. But I imagine myself being unconcerned about it.
