Don’t get me wrong from the highlights he can shoot and handle the ball but so can lots of kids. That doesn’t make him D1 material. I coach AAU teams across the southwest and go to tournaments where that skill set is a dime a dozen and they are bigger, more athletic, play against better competition and they can barely get D2 looks. That’s not a knock because D2 is still really good basketball and those kids are extremely talented but there is far greater talent (size and athleticism) that BYU should be focused on IMO.
