Other than that, no, no reason he shouldn't be cleared.
While every concussion is different, it usually is more than a week to return from a concussion, so if he really had a concussion last Sunday but managed to pass all protocols this week, it would be very far away from "normal" and very close to "miracle".
Now, maybe he didn't actually suffer a concussion, but suffered an injury that had "concussion-like" symptoms. In this case, it wouldn't be inconsistent for him to both be in the concussion protocol this week, and to be able to pass out of it rather rapidly. A concussion isn't something you can see on an x-ray, so it can be difficult to diagnose. CBS Sports reported that the injury wasn't a concussion and was a nerve compression, which led to the wobbly legs after that tackle. Maybe that's the case and why he was practicing as early as Wednesday (72 hours after a concussion is almost unheard of to be engaged in relatively normal physical activity), and would explain how is so easily able to come back.
But, if he really had a concussion last Sunday, getting cleared to play this week feels like it might be less in Mahomes interest and more in the NFL/KC's interest.
