Someone did an analysis on it a while back and found that this was not true.
I think there was one year where we were bumped down a couple spots due to Sunday play, but there was another year we were bumped up. And our seed historically matched pretty well with the metrics being used at the time.
But I agree with you that it seems to be the case based on memory alone.

If metrics point to us being a six seed dust add 4-6 to that number. It’s just how it goes. There is the Sunday play
