I have an XDM (.45 ACP). That was my first gun, and I still love it. It hasn't given me any trouble, except if I am a
slacker on cleaning it (then the slide sometimes doesn't go all the way forward after I fire the gun). But as long as I make sure I clean the gun every time I come home from the range, it always works like it is supposed to. (I don't actually have to clean it that often to keep it running well, but that's what I try to do to make sure I can count on it.)
And I love how accurate that gun is.
I also have a Glock 43 (my conceal carry gun, because that XDM is huge). It is noticeably less finicky about being cleaned. It always just works.
