them and deliver on time? That's what Wilson got so good at. His accuracy was always high which means he could consider someone 'open' with a smaller window than other qb's with lesser accuracy. But finding that guy and getting him the ball at the right time will make an offense very difficult to stop.
I agree with you - but a qb needs good accuracy to improve his window/definition of 'open', and he also needs to see it and time it just right. That combination is rare.
It will certainly help to have excellent receivers and TE's, but the separation won't be great when playing better teams so the qb can't wait for someone to get open by 3' - he's got to find the right guy who has a step on the defender and then get the ball in the right place at the right time. Tough to do consistently.
