mechanics and others that would look at the various cars she was considering. Time and time again I was blown away by how helpful each mechanic was that I would speak with on the phone. It was almost as if they would put themselves in my shoes and think about what they would want to know if their daughter was out of state and they were relying on some stranger to inspect a car he was purchasing for his daughter. Everyone I would speak with took time to go over in detail what they would find with each car, answer all my questions, and then give me a very honest opinion on the car and if they would recommend/ not recommend it. I recall one mechanic I called to ask if he could inspect one of the cars, and he told me he really wasn't qualified to look at that make, but he promptly referred me to someone that could give the car a good inspection. I really appreciated his honesty and his recommendation, as the guy he recommended was extremely thorough in his inspection of the car.
There have been other instances when I've had to rely on people to help me out with my daughter when I'm not there to help her. Every time I'm surprised, and appreciative, at these total strangers willingness to help my daughter out.
