Look at how many colleges have women’s gymnastics and no men’s team. Then look at soccer and do the same analysis. And then look at how many scholarships are awarded to women and how many are awarded to men in sports where a school has both. Hint: The women’s teams get more.

At BYU, more women are given basketball scholarships than men. Same for volleyball. And it’s probably the same for every sport except American football.
