Because both teams coming off a loss will hurt that game. Also his argument should be because of UCLA. His argument should have nothing or little to do with Utah. Utah and BYU with all things being equal draw about the same if not more for BYU

I think it’s safe to say that UCLA is the biggest draw in all of that and the ESPN game will get the higher rating.
