Yes, we always drive to Vegas this route.
It's a great place to drop a body. Not many people out there.

Time
Driving to Vegas on Friday. How much drive time would it add to swing by Mountain Meadows near Cedar City on my way?

Sounds like a good question for google maps

Sometimes algorithms can't provide the same first hand insight as a human:

Honestly I bet google is pretty close. It knows when there are slow downs.

Well, if you're leaving from Henderson, NV, something like 10 hours total

What if he’s leaving from Florida?
TCuz

He'd obviously be leaving from Yeehaw Junction, so it would add about 3 hrs

It would be an extra ~45 minutes or so.

Have you eaten at Marv's Drive-In in Enterprise? Figure I'll try to hit a good restaurant in the area as well.

All the time growing up. My mom is from Enterprise. I'm related to half the town.

Oh man, I LOVE English chips. Glad to know they have some. Anything you'd recommend from there?

It's all pretty good. Classic small town drive-in menu. I get some sort of burger pretty much every time.

I love burgers as well, so I'll definitely grab one, along with English chips and a Dr Pepper with pebble ice. Thanks!

Nope, but I know a bunch of 'em. Hard not to. Throw a rock in Enterprise and you'll hit one.

My wife is a Holt. Her great great grandpa left so Utah and went to Alberta.

If you do this do not go back to St George and I-15. It will be faster to go past Gunlock and take

Good to know. I used Google maps to see from Cedar to the site, then from the site to St. George.

Google will say it's 3 minutes longer but it's not. The construction in the Gorge is a mess.

Excellent tip...and this is why I like asking people instead of algorithms.

You will still get construction at Beaver Dam and then after Mesquite.

Is Littlefield past the Virgin River gorge, so I'd bypass that?

Shhhhh. don't be giving out that info. I'm already losing lake mead as a dumping site.

Get gas in Schivwits too, it's way cheaper
Alpi Gusto

kind of. For regular unleaded it's a few cents cheaper but it's 87 instead of 85 octane

I should have been more clear, I meant in Vegas

It's a straight shot. Probably not too long.
