That was my thought and I would have started here (I just replaced one). But
scottfunkel's post makes me think this may be due to the faulty switch in our microwave. I will probably check that out first.

Could be a bad GFCI. They are easy enough to replace.

Plug the microwave into a different GFCI circuit to see if it trips there too
