Just finished Maverick and I really really liked it. But did they ever explain why it wouldn’t have been possible to drop a few laser guided bunker buster bombs from a high altitude bomber instead of sending in a team of jets? Of course that wouldn’t make a good movie, but I’m wondering if I missed the explanation or if I’m missing something else.
