If set up correctly, perfect shifting every time. If it starts to have issues shifting, it's a bend in the hanger. It's very sensitive to very subtle changes in hanger position. I've run the AXS in -20 degree temps with absolutely no problems. I also have the ASX dropper post, just switch it and the controller between my summer and winter bikes.
