landed two players he likes for a solid vet whose trade value will be zilch in two years; maybe in only one year.
Why does he like Olynik? Cuz the guy can score in the paint. What other 5 on the Jazz's roster can even do that at a modest level right now? And he's a dang good outside threat too, of course. (Yes, he's got his huge defensive flaws, but he does bring some enviable things to the Jazz's roster.)
As for Lee — honestly I know zilch about the guy (I'm not an NBA guy anymore, but Danny's got me reconsidering. 🙁 ). But looking at his numbers & some of his reviews over the last couple years, I think there's a strong possibility Danny really wants him in the mix as a two guard. These 2nd-round guards that end up sticking (there's quite a few out there) oftentimes end up being some of the best role players who end up having long careers in the league.
