They were coached to do that as a statement to the refs that they didn't move,
but to me it was incredibly stupid and there's a reason hardly anybody else has ever done this.
HELLO, MCFLY!!!! YOU'VE GOT A FREE PLAY!!!! Why on earth would you handicap yourself on a free play by not blocking, while also putting the life of your QB in jeopardy by allowing every single pass rusher a free pass?
