If you need a keyboard.. the best is the Magic Keyboard (but only works with the Air/Pro models)
.. other than that, Apple's smart keyboard is ok... but I'm sure there are cheaper keyboards that work about the same.

I have the Magic Keyboard (even more expensive). It’s very pricey but it fundamentally changes the way I use my iPad.
