ditch the 23 year old #2 overall pick from last year whose upside is through the roof, and promote and hype the 27 year journeyman QB in a contract year who is slow and doesn't throw the ball downfield.
They completely ignore the fact that Zach Wilson played against the toughest stretch of defenses that any QB has played against this season. They also ignore the fact that Mike White has played against a couple of bad defenses. Zach Wilson has lost to one team this year and he's sitting on the bench.
I think that their idiotic cries were initially ignored by the coaching staff, but heard by the players, who the coaching staff then had to listen to in order to keep the locker room.
What do fans think it means to "develop" a QB? Why do they think the Jets are incapable of doing it? They are a big part of the problem.
