Vaccine doesn't = Immunization, but you do get immunized via vaccines so that does cause confusion.
So not every vaccination you get means you are immunized, prevented, from getting the disease.
COVID and Flu vaccines just helps you recognize the virus faster and start fighting it sooner, so you don't get as sick as you would have been without the vaccine.
