Grant Hill had a nice little renaissance in his late 30s with the suns
He was just a role player, but he was very reliable and very healthy. Missing all that time early in his career might have let him stay fresh for his late career.

At age 38 Kareem was All-NBA 1st team, won Finals MVP and finished 5th in the regular MVP. Oh and his team won the title

Yep. People forget about this

Kareem also was playing on one of the greatest teams of all time. LeBron has

At 38 Kareem was smart enough to realize he’s not a GM.

Keeping afloat? LA is in last place in its division.

Only 4 games separate the 4th place and 13th place team

Lebron deserves every part of playing for crappy teams. His GM skills suck

Your point being that Kareem's numbers were worth something and Lebron's hollow? Mostly true.

At least on offense he is ...

His individual season was not as good as Lebrons is.

Then why did he accomplish things like First Team All NBA that Lebron won't?

Not to be pedantic.

Seems like Hakeem shoulda been 1st team looking at the stats

Probably, but Hakeem wasn’t a legend yet.

I never subscribed to the hollow numbers theory as long as the player is out

Respect what he does on the court. GM LBJ ruined the current Lakers team.

10 pts and 4 rb per game vs 30 pts and 8 rbs and 7 asst. hmmmmm

I guess at 38 Kareem had like 23, 6. I guess being 5 inches taller doesn’t help

The Jordan season was very inefficient…I think Malone or Stockton are closer

He's putting up meaningless stats. He won't be All NBA nor 5th in the MVP
kimdaddy35
1/30/23 11:03pm
He won’t be 1st team, but I think he’s definitely headed for 2nd or 3rd

Agreed. Putting up big numbers on a better team is more difficult. What he is doing is impressive, but I would still

41, 9, and 8 in an OT loss at the best team in the NBAs court? Meaningless?

I don’t get why his stats are meaningless. Because his team isn’t elite?

Hard to compare MJ for several reasons:

You kind of want it both ways. LeBron sits out games. MJ sat out entire seasons
