Here’s my point…if you listened to opposing coaches, Kelvin Sampson for example, he stated point blank that BYU’s gameplan is predicated on having (multiple) great shooters in the program every season.
Comparing what the NBA is doing to BYU is not realistic. I am not confident BYU can recruit some of the best shooters in the country consistently. I believe it’s fools gold.
Goodness, Knell has been considered one of the best shooters in the history of the program and should be a prime indicator of what relying on the three ball looks like.
