I agree with everything you are saying. I don't think Slovis was the problem
(not sure he was elite either) but the OL played so poorly that it was impossible for anyone to succeed at that position.
I'm not surprised about Bohannon. He was awful last year. No idea why we would give him a scholarship other than desperation.

Slovis wasn't the problem. The O line was. Wish we had him another year. He

Agreed. And I hope I’m wrong but I don’t think Retzlaff is the solution.

And without injuries even w/ an incompetent line.

Am I wrong or did it seem like the offense moves better with Retzlaff.

He was a willing runner and we would read on zone read. QB run opens up lots.

No I especially think he passed the eye test in comparison, but there were just

Slovis actually had us performing really well through the first five or six games in the redzone

Not an exact comparison, but Slovis was QB for 5 conference games and Retzlaff for 4

I was never impressed with Slovis…. Never saw the field very well.

Slovis was not good. Coaches HAD to try other option(s).

I’m just not convinced a non-running QB can do well in ARod’s offense.

Slovis ran a 4.5 at the combine. He should have used that more than he did.

Further proof that not all 4.5s are the same.
