This is a great success for Montana managers.
I dont see the same thing happening in Colorados future. You have a state that probably has more elk than all other western states combined (correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I remember). It has the potential to have what happened to the elk, or heaven forbid the moose population around the greater Yellowstone ecosystem over the next 20 years.

At least here in Alaska we have the original, native subspecies that fits (120-150 lb Canadian grays). The fact wildlife managers thought replacing 60-80 lb timber wolves with these in the lower 48 was a good idea is baffling.

You have to understand the hesitancy by those invested in the hunting or ranching industries.
