Whew that was a slog to get through last week. Maybe it's because I've read all 3 + the novella in the last 2 months. The Way of Kings was slow and I almost gave up except for everyone here talking about how good it was. The ending was fun. I could barely put down Words of Radiance. Oathbringer had its moments, but part 4 in Shadesmar could have been trimmed in half and lost nothing.

How's Rhythm of War compare? Thinking I might need to take a break from Sanderson novels for a while so they're exciting again. I saw the major focus is on Venli; I haven't enjoyed the Parshmen points of view much and definitely not Szeth (book 5 protagonist?). Is Rhythm of War better?
