The head-scratching part is that they've made a lot of smart moves this off-season. Letting Biadz, Armstrong, and Gallup go and replacing them with rookies was fine. All of those guys were replacement-level players. I actually loved the trade down in the first round - they landed the guy they wanted all along and picked up an extra third rounder.
But it seems like they could have easily landed a different linebacker in the 5th or 6th round and drafted a RB at the spot where they took Lifau.
