I watched the UK version first and thought it was much better. But maybe that's because Jimmy Fallon and Drew Barrymore are very low on my list of actors.

Side note: the fact that "pitch" works equally well for a British movie about an obsessed Arsenal fan (the subject of the original book and screenplay) and a US movie about an obsessed Red Sox fan is pretty cool.
