It is a good show, but something about it was unsatisfying
I think it was a combination of a lack of any moral center and Don Draper's ever-changing relationships. Never felt like there was anyone to root for. In Breaking Bad there were also lots of morally compromised people, but Hank was a moral anchor, and even Jesse to some extent.

Having said that, the closing scene of Mad Men that cuts to the iconic Coke commercial is one of the greatest endings to a show ever.
