Games in Provo are like going to a movies. People basically show up at kick off, and then go home following the game. Or, if there is a "pregame function" it is catered to moms, seven year-olds, and dads who have been forced to carry their 8 month old--on game day. Its a huge let down to a fan who is seeking a more traditional game day experience. So, to get a better game day experience, I travel to 3-4 away games per year to support the program. And, with BYU's new schedule, it's totally awesome. In 2013, I am stoked to got to:
Madison
Charlotte
South Bend

Sure, BYU needs balance with most other programs they play bla, bla bla, and some of the fans who cannot (or will not travel) would get mad if they don't have home games. But I have gotten to the point that if BYU played 7-8 away games and 4-5 home games per year, I would be fine. So, will ND demand that BYU continue it's travel schedule to South Bend? I really hope so,,,,,, for the fans sake.
