The defense just gave up. That was coaching also . . . lack of motivating and discipline . . . but I don't know that they technique taught was any different. How they executed that technique was, according to Bryan, lazy. Therefore they looked as if they had no technique.

If this is true, and I have no reason to think that it is not, than I do expect Bronco's increased role with the defense will help a lot. Bronco is a leader of people. They will follow him and play harder for him.
