our top CB. I for one was hoping that hiring Sitake meant we were finally going to have a competent defense, and I love what I'm seeing. The defense isn't very good yet in terms of stopping the pass, but they are great at making big plays and forcing turnovers. That's something we haven't seen in years in my opinion.
The silver lining is that we went into a very tough stadium, spotted them 14 points, then toughened up and had them on the ropes. Previous teams would have/did quit in that situation.
It's too bad we continue to throw out Riley Nelson Jr when the only time he should be playing is on QB sneaks. It was another 'woulda coulda shoulda' that didn't have to be.
