Some random thoughts

I gotta wonder if Taysom had played against more G5 level teams if he would be more highly regarded. Call me an apologist but he was a good QB, just played tougher competition and was snake bit with injuries. There was a point well into the 3rd quarter where neither QB had an incomplete pass that half. If you watch the BYU cuts edition Taysom airballs some throws but quite a few are right on the money.

Also great to see Jamaal go beast mode for 5 TDs and some flashes from Squally Canada and Tanner Balderee. I wish the naked boot had been called a few more times last season. Credit to Logan Woodside that dude was and is a great QB; he and Hunt helped make that barnburner. The 2 pt conversion that was fumbled then still completed amazes me. Toledo should have never got their last TD due to their receiver going out of bounds and coming back to catch it. Also, Michael Davis got beat like a rented mule so many times that game, didn't realize till I watched the long video.
