They still have plenty to be competitive and probably find a way to win the conference. It will be a year where they are holding out for the future but it's hardly close to rebuilding. Williams likely goes back and doesn't hire an agent.
Their two 2017 commits are both 4 star guys. There are like 4 other 4 star guys still on the roster, some of whom haven't even played much if at all. It's not like they're falling apart here. And while they didn't land a huge transfer this year who could play right away, they're still landing big recruits. Not to mention the inevitable development of some underrated foreign kid, most likely. Not striking out in the least bit. At this point, I also don't know how big of a get Jeter is. Not sure he's ever going to do much in college, due to skill, desire, and health.
