Are you talking about the 2001 season? If you are, I was in the coaching football class at BYU the next year. Gary Crowton was a guest speaker one class and said the team was just gassed because they had traveled more miles as a team that year than they ever had before. Not sure I buy it, but that was the excuse he gave.
