My hole in one at Torrey Pines was interesting as well. Par three with a ...
...little valley between the tee box and the green. I hit a ground ball right into the valley. It rolled and rolled and rolled. Then started rolling up the hill towards the green. A few seconds later it was in the hole.

From what I remember (this was a long time ago), the valley wasn't even grassy. It was basically the original mountain landscape with dirt and weeds and brushes.

Worst shot and best shot of my life all at the same time.

Then they played the US open there just after that and I kept thinking, "ya I'm better than those guys."
