I know I haven't been this depressed about BYU football since the Crowton era about 2003 or 2004. We had some discouraging seasons under Bronco but I never felt like we were in serious danger of a losing season and not going bowling. (With the exception of 2010.) That was one of the main criticisms of Bronco; that we were perennially decent/good but never great. And after 2009, it really did seem like the program was stagnating.
However, I knew even with our rough starts, that we would still end up winning 8 or 9 games and finish respectably. I'm just not feeling that this year with this team. I think we'll be lucky to win 6 or 7 games and go bowling. Every game from here on out is either a toss up or a certain loss. The team is broken and no one seems to know how to fix it including players and coaches.
I really want to get behind Kalani and continue to be supportive but man what a crappy season this is turning out to be.
