There was a contingent of the audience that would yell and cheer like crazy when any of the white guilt talking points were said in the movie, or white people were put down. For example, when Kill Monger is talking to the white lady in the museum and he says something to the effect of "Your ancestors took everything from us" they cheered it, " YEAH PREACH ON!" Then when Martin Freeman's character kept getting shushed by that arctic king dude they yelled, "That's RIGHT, SHUT YOUR MOUTH." Then when another line in the movie talked about the "Colonizers and Oppressors" they cheered out, "Aint that the TRUTH" etc. The whole plot of the movie was really strange, Killmonger was going to ship out weapons to black people all over the world so they can overthrow those evil white people that have oppressed them? What? Luckily the audience didn't ruin the movie for me because the movie royally sucked. It's probably the most overrated Marvel movie I've ever seen, worse than Thor 2 or Iron Man 2 imo.
