school but we’re two years apart so she has a lot of mutual “friends” and acquaintances. I use the quotations because I haven’t seen or heard from even my “best friends” from high school in the better part of a decade and I live a few miles from one of them.

I’ve never been a “buddy” guy and didn’t really run with a pack of pals. We sort of happened to have similar interests so it was as much convenient as it was being tight with anyone.

I do randomly see former classmates from time to time. I don’t even really ever converse with them or remind them we’re classmates if they don’t mention it to me.

There is quite literally nothing I wish to relive about high school. It wasn’t bad but it certainly wasn’t great, either.
