The morning after the wedding, we had to wake up early to catch a flight to our honeymoon destination. Before we left, my wife sent a text message to her dad thanking him for being a great dad and helping out so much with the wedding. It said something to the effect of, "Thank you so much for all you've done for me and for all that you did to make the wedding reception so great. Everything last night was amazing." Something like that.

Well, it was long enough that it sent it in two separate texts, and only the most recent text message would display on his screen. He was alerted early in the morning to see only a text from his daughter that read "last night was amazing." He said that he just groaned and rolled over to go back to sleep wondering why she thought he would want to know that.
