Yup, I had one go out last year and was charged $175 for less than 5 min of work
I decided I would not let that happen ever again so when my AC went down last month, I bought the cap and fixed it in about 10 minutes.

YT is great for that kind of stuff. It’s handy for gunsmithing jobs too, no matter obscure the gun or what the job is
