This was in Provo when I was a student in the mid 90s. My wife and I had done sealings in the temple the night before, and the next day I got a phone call in the morning from an older gentleman I didn’t know. He said that he was in the sealing session with us and that he was impressed by my wife and I and felt prompted to invite us to participate in a “business op” with him. Suspecting where he was going, I pressed him and he confessed it was MLM. We didn’t go, and I should have hung up on the old man. But I was too nice back then.
