Went for a different company (or something like that) He ended up getting sued by the billing company because he broke the contract. Apparently there wasn't a “quality of work clause” or anything in the contract saying the billing company had to do their part. The lawyer he got just so happened to be employed by the company that was sueing him. (The lawyer disclosed conflict of interest but the doctor thought the lawyer would be fair) Doctor lost and had to pay something like 400k.
When my dad was telling me about this he said something to the effect of “If someone is screwing you over, go after them hard, you be ruthless and don't trust anyone to be fair.” So, if I ever own my own clinic I plan on telling my employees something to the effect of ‘I'm going to take care of you, and I hope you love working here, but if you try to screw me over I will not hold back” Unfortunately, in business you can't trust anyone.
