I've never understood why so many new homes leave a 42 in space for a TV.

And then no theater room.

If I'm buying a half million dollar home, I ain't gonna be squinting at a 40 in tv like a chump.

Not to mentioned the space is 7 feet in the air above the fireplace. Nothing like getting a neck cramp watching the news.

Are you sure that's a "new" home? I would guess that it was built in the 2005-2010 range, when people still used square
