They should have done anything and everything short of giving up Sunday play to get into the Big 12 back in 2010-2011.
It was an extreme oversight on the part of the admin. They severely underestimated just how vital it is to have a seat at the Power 5 table.
They marketed and boasted about the HD truck and playing anyone, anywhere, anytime and all it’s given byu football is a lopsided schedule where the hardest part of the season is all up front with the least intriguing games at the end of the season.
It really doesn’t matter who the coach is when you’re on the outside looking in. The Admin should have known this and did anything it took to get in when the window was open.
