And I think these are fair criticisms. BYU should be in the hunt for the tournament every year, and we have not been for the last few. Some people, however, seem to think that firing Rose would take use to a perennial sweet 16 contender. BYU has never been that in our entire history. So the fact we have not made multiple deep runs in the tournament is not a Rose problem, because BYU has never had a coach be able to consistently do that in our history (relevant recent history since the mid 70-s at least).
