I really don't think our offense is designed to produce astronomical numbers for yardage and scoring...even against weak teams. Through these first three games, it seems that the scheme is a slower, controling the pace of the game rather than going for huge explosive plays. Definitely not GFGH. Granted our line may be able to push the weaker teams around a bit more, which might open up bigger holes for big rushing yardage. We will also have more passing than we did against Wiscy - it won't be hard to beat 120 - but this isn't an offense designed for 250-300 yds passing per game.
Long story short - you can be a top 25 team without having lots of stats being in the top 25. If we are really this good, defensive stats will show it because we are controlling the game clock. But don't expect the offensive stats of yardage and scoring to be in the top 25.
