Perfect placement on a deep ball is where the receiver can catch it, and the

defender can't touch it. Its the receivers job to hold on to it after it hits his hands. A "perfect" pass is on the fingertips of outstretched arms, and our receivers have dropped those this year. He placed it in a perfect position for the situation.
